[Media Invite]
While I went gallivanting to Perth with my daughter Stacci on our bonding trip, the rest of the family went on a trip up north to visit LEGOLAND Malaysia for LEGO Star Wars™ Days that is happening right now till 31 May 2017. It is called Star Wars™ Days because it is not a single day event on 4th of May, but it lasts for the entire month! The Imperial March that the family watched over the 13 - 14 May weekend may be over but read on to find out what else you can expect to find at the jolly place!
Kids Go Free
Who wants to pay for more when you can go in free? But the kiddos between 3 - 12 years of age will need to be in full Starwars costume to be eligible. So if you intend to just put on a Star Wars™ T-shirt and carry a lightsaber to swing around to qualify for the free entry, do not bother. Need to put in some effort lah right? For more info, check out here.
LEGO Star Wars™ Scavenger Hunt
For the kiddos, remember to get your LEGO Star Wars™ passport from the friendly staff at the entrance of the theme park because this is not to be missed as you will earn a special limited edition LEGO Star Wars Duplo brick and / or a badge upon completion. Enjoy all the 6 activities listed in the passport (highlighted in RED on this page as well) and get a stamp after every activity. Collect your well deserved prize by presenting the duly completed passport at the LEGO Academy but do note that prizes may be subject to availability ok?
LEGO Build
If building is your game, then head on to the LEGO Academy to Build Your LEGO Star Wars™ World (11am - 5pm) or help Build A Giant LEGO R2-D2 (11am - 6pm) as well. And if you are confident of your skills, take part in the Speed Building Competition (11am - 6pm) at the LEGO City Stage where you still to win prizes for beating the top scores.
Jedi Academy
Little aspiring warriors can don Jedi costumes and learn the moves from the masters in the Jedi Academy at Festive Stage @ LEGO City in the two daily sessions at 2.30pm and 4:30pm. But do remember to register 15mins before the sessions start and earn a certificate after completion too!
Star Wars™ Miniland ‘Live’
You may have visited the Star Wars™ Miniland before but how about having a Jedi Knight guide you through the exhibits once again and perhaps have new discoveries too? It is happening daily 2.30pm and 4:30pm with an additional 12.30pm session on Fri, Sat and Sun! While you are there, lookout for clues on the posters and descriptions to solve the Star Wars™ Trivia in the passport!
Character Meet And Greet
Find Stormtroopers and Jedis throughout the day as well as cute LEGO® Darth Vader. In addition, the Stormtroopers will also be performing a special dance section for your enjoyment too! Check out the official guide for more information! Thank you LEGOLAND Malaysia for having the family over, we cannot wait to visit again!
