What Washer & Dryer Suits A Big Family like Ours?

I cannot imagine how the folks get by without a washer or dryer in the olden days, especially when families are also kinda big last time? For sure the dynamics were different back than, when the wife is more or less expected to do all the housework. With both partners working these days and the expectation for the husband to share the housework as well, it makes sense to get household appliances that are reliable and up for the task!

When we first got acquainted with our new washer and dryer.

Having 5 kids, with all of them school and childcare going, meant a mountain of clothes to wash on a daily basis, no joke. And for that, we got ourselves a set of 10kg Front Load Washing Machine (BWF506DWA) and 8kg Front Load Dryer (BWD58H2DA) from Brandt, which was really a great choice. We need at least one run of the washer to clear the pile of worn clothes in our laundry basket daily.

Choosing the type of clothes determines the correct wash cycles for the washer.

3 ticks wor... not bad liao...

The clothes are usually already quite dry after going through the normal cycles in the washer and there is no need to use the dryer if we hang them out to dry. That means if the clothes are washed by the morning, they can be fully dried after an hour or two in the hot afternoon sun. But given our hectic schedules, this is not always possible and that's where the dryer come in really handy, fully drying our clothes even into the wee hours. Can wash clothes anytime if need be lah, without having to look out for the weather.

The same goes for the dryer. You only need to select the correct program.

This one hor, full marks wor! Saves you electricity as compared to other less efficient brands.

I also love how both the washer and dryer stacks up vertically and perfectly, saving us much space and makes the whole area feel conducive to erm... doing chores? The LED displays may look a little daunting for the average user but the machines these days are really intelligent. One can easily choose and start the washer / dryer by a turn of the knob to one of the pre-programmed wash cycle settings for any types of clothes depicted. Even my wife have no problem guiding our helper along on the machines. Been using them for months now and they are still going great!

Having them stacked up saves up much space!
