Audiclean Ear Cleansing Wash

One of the favorite pre-bedtime activities for the kiddos would be “ear-digging” and the older kiddos would really enjoy the sensation. They always love it when I manage to find “gold” from their ear canals and would always compare on who gets the most! But sometimes I do find it hard to see properly and that has resulted in some squirming at times when the ear pick touches anywhere sensitive.

My wife on the other hand, fears the picking of her eyes, despite my coaxing and offer of help. It is quite satisfying for the me too, when I can manage to dig out something big. Those who pick, you know the feeling! However when I think about it now, my wife’s fears are not unfounded, and what I have been doing is rather dangerous. A wrong move, an accidental knock and the ear drums may be damaged by the pick. 

I was recently being introduced to a brand of ear cleansing wash called Audiclean, sounds like some car brand hor? I never enjoyed having water in my ears, especially after shower or a swim. The feeling is not nice and I will always hop with my head tilted until I get the water out. So naturally I was quite hesitant in losing my ear-washing virginity to Audiclean. In the end I did, all for the purpose of this review. I am glad to say that the entire procedure wasn't all too bad! The stream of cool sterile isotonic seawater was gentle on the ear and I don't get the nasty "water-in-ear" feeling after use. It would be perfect for those who wishes to clean their ear canals without the use of the pick or cotton buds.

To use the wash, you just need to follow the simple steps  -

1. Attach nozzle on top of the bottle by pressing it gently into place 
2. Place index finger into nozzle 
3. Gently insert nozzle into ear, while keeping head upright; depress for 1 second 
4. Leave solution in ear for 10 seconds 
5. Gently tilt head to allow wash to drain out 
6. Gently dry outer ear with a clean towel or tissue 
7. In case of excessive wax production, leave product to act for 10 minutes. Repeat procedure up to 4 times if necessary 
8. Rinse nozzle with hot water and repeat on the other ear. Rinse nozzle with hot water after usage.
