A Peter Rabbit Tale

The lucky kiddos got to attend the play "A Peter Rabbit Tale" by Singapore Repertory Theatre at KC Arts Centre last weekend and were very entertained by the very talented cast members who played different characters in the show. The story revolved around the adventures of Peter, a little rabbit who was always getting into trouble and thought of finding a new home after getting into some troubles. The story saw him trying to fit in with a pair of squirrel sisters, a family of mice (or rats?) and even a rocking 'n' rolling Hedgehog! But at the end of it all, nothing beats being in the comfort and loving embrace of one's family!

The storyline and spoken language was easy to understand even for the little ones, while the pace of the story was great and even little Louie was engrossed with the happenings on stage. Although he was a little terrified of the owl initially. A great way to spend a weekend morning with the kiddos, and useful to impart the value of "family" too if you ask me.
