Happy 6th Birthday little!

It wasn't too long when we had a fun family photoshoot for one of little's issue last year. In fact when I broached the idea of having the shoot in our house while it was still being renovated to the Publisher and Creative Director, Mr Kenneth Tan, he was kinda surprised that we wanted that due to all the debris but he was still cool to follow through it nevertheless!

This year would be little magazine's 6th anniversary and we have some questions for Kenneth before the big celebration!

1) Is working in the media something that you had envisaged all along, or has there been another dream job that you reckoned you would like?
ANS: No, but after doing this (media) for so long, i cant imagine doing anything else that i come to love dearly. Maybe a 'Toy' designer.

2) Now that little is turning 6, looking back at when you first started, what are the things that you would have done differently with the magazine if given the chance?
ANS: Even if given the chance, i will not change anything (really lah), as the decisions (whether positive or not) led us (little) to where we are today.

3) As Publisher and Creative Director of little Magazine, tell me more about your typical day at the office.
ANS: Well....its alot alot... of meetings and communication with partners, vendors and clients. And the regular photoshoots for the magazine, extremely stressful yet weirdly satisfying upon completion.

4) What would you describe as your mission for the magazine?
ANS: To enable 'little' to be the No.1, Premier Kids & Family Lifestyle Magazine in Asia :)

5) So tell us how exactly is little different from other publications and how would you “sell” it?
ANS: Sincerity, heart & soul sets us apart (not purely driven by dollars & cents). 'little' sells itself. When you pick up a copy and flip thro', you will be sense the vibe & be immediately drawn to it by the sincere contents n stunning visuals.

6) Pretty sure little would not want to remain small so to say, what are your plans for the magazine going forward?
ANS: 'little' has indeed grown and we are ready to take the next 'big' step. We are looking at more 'exclusive' events/ shows, collaborations with local & international partners and overseas expansion.

Psst.... you know hor, now with every purchase of little magazine (Aug-Oct 2019, issue 25) at Kinokuniya bookstores (at Ngee Ann City, Bugis and Jem), you will get a free pack of The Golden Duck's Singapore Chilli Crab Seaweed Tempura which is really sedap! I love the magazine, and the snack lor!

Steffi is featured too!  Hee hee...
To many many more years and continue to make your presence felt little magazine, both locally and regionally!
